You are not alone

"Depression" the word which being in the lime light due to the death of our beloved actor {Sushant Singh Rajput} is a very un-touched and unspoken subject.

So, what is depression?

Depression is a constant feeling that does not go away on its own. The people going through this are the ones who may benefit from extra support and help.

*
In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) found that depression is the second greatest reason for disability in the world. Unfortunately the sad truth is only 10% of these people ever receive any effective treatment

People often get depressed and demotivated and it can be completely treatable.

"We" as a humans always tries to hide aur feelings, emotions which might be a root cause for it.

My opinion is that if a person has a very healthy or positive environment/atmosphere around itself he will never get depressed.

So, Being a parent it is your duty that you should more often have small small talk-sections with your childrens and observe their answers in that way the bonding between you and your pal will become much stronger and they will happily start sharing everything with you

Now the question aries how do you know if you, your family or your friends are just sad or if they are suffering from depression?

-> Here are some symptoms which may help you to identify it.

*
• Sad or empty feeling for over two weeks.
• Feeling hopeless or helpless.
• Losing interest in things you usually enjoy.
• Changes in appetite.
• Nausea, headaches, chronic pain.
• Change in sleep (sleeping too much or not sleeping at all).
• Withdrawing from friends and family.
• Inability to concentrate.
• Stressed out or anxious.
• Irritability or anger.
• Constant fatigue.
• Thoughts of suicide.

Now, How we can treat it ?

Talk to someone in your family or one of your friends. You can also talk to your doctor or a therapist.

No matter who you talk to, or if you just write it down on paper, just write it, say it, and let it out.

The fact is, the sooner you start getting treatment, the faster you will start feeling better.

Do not ignore it and just hope it goes away. "Mental health" is as much important as that of physical health.

And always say to yourself  "you are not alone"

STAY SAFE STAY POSITIVE.
