If you ask me i will say : "a place where you meet the people you have never known before,
You have your meals with them, Suddenly you start having late night talking sessions,
You start to hang out with them,
You have your college trips and some other adventures".
Independence is something that most of us barely get at home. In a hostel, you are accountable for everything from getting up in the morning, to having meals, to washing clothes and what not.
The people you chill with and most importantly You eat with, Beyond beds and books you started to grow up with them. They are the ones who understands you.
We Learnt to bear with each other's faults and flaws, Take care of each other during weak days, Party hard in every occasion,
From occasion mean Celebrating birthdays and in hostels it's way different than you can ever imagine
And let's not forget about the mess, still it gives me nightmares. In hostel we learn why they are called "mess" because they are literally mess.
The food in the mess will make you crave and even the simple dal-chawal of home seem like a feast.
You never thought that the way you miss home while at hostel you will miss hostel when at home.
That is just not a hostel room anymore, unknowingly you have created unforgettable memories for life
This life brings out the real you and gives extremely valuable memories for life. Some of them are unimaginably terrible; however most of them are immense and priceless.
Not everyone gets that life.
